Pixel Dimensions and Aspect Ratio Locking
Resizing images without locking their native aspect ratio causes severe horizontal stretching or vertical squishing. Our tool automatically recalculates height when you enter width to preserve proper proportions.
Whether you are preparing a YouTube banner, an Instagram post, or marketplace listing photos, exact pixel dimensions ensure crisp display across all device viewports.
Resizing for Social Media and Marketplace Requirements
Different social platforms demand specific canvas dimensions: Instagram square (1080×1080), Stories (1080×1920), and YouTube thumbnails (1280×720). Pre-sizing images prevents awkward auto-cropping by platform algorithms.
High-Resolution Downsampling
Our canvas resizing engine utilizes high-quality bicubic interpolation to prevent jagged pixelation or blurry edges when scaling down high-megapixel camera photos.
